I just bought a 65" LG 4k TV and realized i made a HUGE mistake since there is no Plex app for LG tv:s.... I need to buy a player and ATV4 seems like a good candidate since i want some other apps that ATV4 offers too.. I tried Chromecast yesterday but it did not work the way I want to and seems to transcode causing problems and I cant stand to mess around with it to get it to work if it ever will..
Since my connection is via Mobile Broadband (speed around 30Mbit downlink) i need to be able to cache some data since speed varies a bit on my connection. With PMC this works perfectly (PMC caches a maximum of about 110MB of data, i wish it was more but there seem to be a limit of just 110MB). But my computer that runs PMC does not have any HDMI output and my new TV does not have any DVI input as my old TV had.. Converting DVI->HDMI with converter is not optimal for picture quality it seems like... So.. ATV4....
So my questions, finally...
Does ATV4 have caching too?
What is the maximum cache size?
Is it possible to change cache size?
I tried searching for these questions but was not able to find an answer.... :(
