I have upwards of 30K tracks in my music collection, but there is one specific set of albums where the tracks don't show on the Plex app on Apple TV 4. The metadata appears to be consistent with all my other albums. The tracks show up in the Apple TV music app. They even show up in PLEX if I go in through the folder list. But if I go to this particular set of albums through Music/All/Artist when I select the album all I get is the Album title and "Tracks" with no tracks listed. Thus the album cannot be played when it is selected through this "normal" path. These are all albums that were converted to *.m4v files from Franklin Mint vinyl published in the '70's. Other LP's converted from the same era work perfectly. I cannot find ANY unique characteristic of these files which would explain the problem. The tracks show up on my iPhone app. They show up on the PLEX server. But they do not show up on the Apple TV 4 app. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app itself (to no avail). I am totally stumped...
