maybe it was asked multiple times, but maybe someone can help me, nevertheless. I would appreciate.
My setup is as follows:
- Synology DS214play
- LAN connection with 100 MBit speed measured
- most movies are MP4 with codec H264 and less than 30 frames per second
Since a few weeks, the films get stuck, very often. Today, I watched my Synology and CPU and RAM are in red figures.
I believe, these problems do not appear, when I stream to my iPhone, my iPad or Mac.
Now, my questions:
Which streaming quality is recommended?
Should I allow to direct stream and direct play or better not?
Any other hints?
